Sturminster Newton Cheese festival, another great success, I have never seen so much cheese in one place ever! A definite must for next year

Cranbore ‘Lamer Tree’  Wood fair, what a great fair this is turning into, we were a little tucked away this year in the Lamer tree garden, but still a lot of great demonstrations and products.

I’m looking to run a spoon carving  workshop during 2010, please email me if your interested, it will be run in the woods  nr. Blandford, Dorset.

Dates are now in place for the first spoon carving workshop.  2010 shows list is now up to date.  Lots of opportunity's to demonstrate this year at various shows.  Just discovered cold pressed linseed oil from High Barn Farm, great product, so good you can drink it!

Just back from a fantastic 2 days at Yandles woodwork show, demonstrating spoon carving.  Thank you to all who stopped by to talk spoons.  More spoon knives ordered from Ben, currently looking for a supplier of Frosts carving knives to add to the tools list.

I can’t believe that 4 months since I last wrote, I have had a busy summer with shows and now have spoons for sale in Woodland Wonders a new shop specialising in wooden items mainly locally made in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, see link above.

Well winter has come and gone, I have been having a go with an arbortech mini carving tool, making free form bowls.  Also I have teamed up with Toby from ‘Greenwood Workshop’ to run a couple of spoon carving one day courses

More dates to follow, if you have four people and can provide the venue I will come to you, but may charge for mileage.  Course cost is £60 per person per day 10am till 4pm, all tools supplied.
