@WessexWoodCraft My bundles of Wooden plant labels are a great alternative to the plastic ones found in the shops and garden centres. They will biodegrade if left unlike the white plastic ones. Made from locally sourced Hazel wood here in Dorset, I sell these in packs of 10 for £4.
I have found that indelible pencil works the best for writing on them.
